A 'word profile' of a chapter in The Pivotal Pastor
When I began these Reflections, I wasn’t sure what they would be about. I left the choice of topics to “inspiration.” The feedback I’ve received has been encouraging. I’m happy to have shared some of my experiences and some peeks at the story. (I shared the table of contents, and a chapter, in the prior Reflection.)
I’m also happy to inform you that future “peeks” won’t be via these Reflections. You can soon read the story for yourself.
On November 21st, The Pivotal Pastor will be “officially” released. Because you’ve been a faithful reader, I’ve arranged for you to save 15%, and an opportunity to shop now instead of waiting. Both the book and a matching bookmark can be purchased online. There are three options for the book: (1) an “inscribed” copy (such as “To Clark, you are super, man!”); (2) a copy signed by the author; (3) a “plain” book (no inscription or signing).
Visit https://www.emmaus-way.com/shop. To get the discount, you must enter the coupon code REFLECTION during checkout. You should receive the book in time to enjoy reading during Advent.
Be aware that I am warping the publishing paradigm by using the internet as an extension of the book. Purchasers who “register” their book will be given a link to supplemental web content, similar to the color drawings by Kindergarten children and Pastoral Council members that I shared in earlier reflections. The web content also includes corrections/changes to the content and a “Comprehensive Index.” The Index has many more entries from both the body and the Endnotes than the book does. (In fact, so many that if the word or name you are looking for isn’t in the Comprehensive Index, then it probably isn’t in the book. The words in the banner of this Reflection are only 1% of the Comprehensive Index.) So, by registering, you’re maximizing your purchase.
I sincerely would like to hear from you about the Reflections you’ve read. Just use the link below to send me a comment. It doesn’t have to be long, just honest. If you liked something in particular, what was it? If you really disagree about something I said, what was it and why? Sharing thoughts is beneficial in so many ways. I’ve shared mine. What are yours?
Please send me your comments and visit www.emmaus-way.com/shop now!!
